All right ... show of hands. Who all is interested in the 48 hour film project besides me. I attended the Cineposium 2005 in which we made a film and sent it off to the Sundance film festival. Of course one of the guys in our group works for Fox 16 and knew how to edit films. That was a blessing! We named our group 44 Crew Productions. We had a blast. I'm looking for those actors who are interested in making films or has the equipment required for this project. I would like to know the Excel members who are interested in having an Excel film making crew to get started making our own films. One guy at Cineposium 2005 will be teaching film making at UALR. Just let me know who all is interested. My number is 682-6711 at work. My cell is 343-3300. My home number is 455-9567.
Sharl,
My husband and I were going to enter but I will be in New York directing at this years IMTA. I am however interested in the film making course at UALR and would love to start an Excel Film team in general; even beyond this competition. Thank you for the ed. info and your response to this amazing competition opp. Danielle
Hello Sharl, I am interested in acting and participating in an Excel film team. It sounds like a really impressive project for a struggling actor and I can't wait to join you guys.
I want to be apart of this if possible. I haven't had an opportunity to really do anything exciting since I had classes at excel. I know I am not listed with the agency but I am interested in work. If actresses are needed please contact me at 240-7994. Kanisha Hatton
Hey Danielle, Tony Brown & Kanisha Excel Film Crew! I'm glad to see we have those who are serious about acting and film making. There are two guys I know who work with film. One guy I've worked with at the Cineposium 2005, Michad Holliday, works at Fox 16 and knows how to film and edit films, may be able to get off that weekend of July 15 to work with us on the 48 Hour Film project. Another person, Joseph Emmel, has a Radio and Film Degree @ UALR and has a Canon XL1 and a Sony camera with crew lights. Joseph also has a degree in International studies. Danielle, Tony Brown, Kanisha, do I need to meet with you all before I sign us up for the 48 Hour Film project representing the Excel Film Crew or can I go ahead and register us who want to do this? You guys, I really, really need your response immediately! That away I'll know to go ahead and register us for this Excel Film Crew. Danielle, I know you and your husband will be out of town that weekend, but I can go as the main representative from Excel. This project will kick off Friday, July 15 at Dempsey Film Group. So, I need your response this week. My cell is 343-3300 & work is 682-6711. Joseph's cell is 584-1858. Michad's number at Fox 16 is 225-0016, ext 4243.
