Great News for Those Interested in IMTA

I just wanted to share some exciting news with all of you.  As most of you know IMTA is a very well known showcase for up and coming actors, models, singers, dancers, etc.  I'm sure you have all heard of the many successes that come from IMTA such as....Ashton Kutcher, Katie Holmes, Elijah Wood, Jessica Biel, Eva Longoria, Sean William Scott and many more.  And of course we can add to this list our own Excel  IMTA success stories....Madison Ainley, Marcell Brown, Drew Carr, Nick Doss, Julia Stephenson, Kara and Kayla Holmes, Laren Harris, Haley Taylor, Chris Hird, Brett Weston, Chaney Allen and we KNOW there will be many more to come.... 

So, here is the exciting news...

IMTA alum Arman Zajic is in the cast of the buzz-generating film Jarhead.  Jarhead is directed by Academy Award winning Sam Mendes (American Beauty and The Road to Perdition).  The film is an adaptation of a third generation Marine Anthony Swofford's best-selling, bracing memoir that took readers into his firsthand experience in the Gulf War.  The lead character “Swoff” is played by Jake Gyllenhaal and the young “Swoff” is played by Arman Zajic. Arman’s acting abilities and his close resemblance to Jake Gyllenhaal were key in his securing the role of young “Swoff”. 

 In an exclusive IMTA interview, Arman said making the film was an incredible experience and he is looking forward to the release.  “Jarhead is my first feature film and it was a great movie to work on.  Great director.  Great cast.  I loved working with Jamie (Foxx) and Jake (Gyllenhaal).  We all became good friends.”  Arman competed at IMTA during “Hooray for Hollywood” 2003 where he met his manager Mark Robert of Mark Robert Management. 

Jarhead is creating Oscar buzz so check it out in theaters!  This should get you all pumped up for IMTA 2006 and just confirms all the wonderful possibilities that can come from this famous showcase.  Good luck all you upcoming IMTA contestants!
