I had a great time at class tonight! My favorite part of class has been runway. I am thrilled that I made some new friends who are interested in the same goals as I am. Beautiful people may be everywhere; however, it is rare to find somebody who is beautiful and driven. I hope that you enjoy us as much as we enjoy you. I will try to make you proud.

Hi Melissa! Sorry for taking so long to respond to your first post. I did finally figure out how to get on the website, though. Thanks for taking us all under your wing. I love how you are able to incorporate so much scripture into each lesson. It is so encouraging! I also loved the story of how God brought you to where He wanted you to be. I was that same painfully shy bookworm who spent a lot of her spare time in the dark room in high school and still much prefers to be behind the camera than in front of it. I've come a long way the past 15 years, but my friends would still be totally shocked if I told them I was taking a modeling class.

I also thought it was funny when you talked about God's tendency to use the thing you like the least about yourself. That's why I laughed both times you commented on what nice skin I had...next to my height (all four of my siblings are significantly taller than me), my skin is one of the things that I thought would disqualify me from being able to do much modeling work because of the moles all over my arms, the pregnancy-induced stretch marks on my stomach, and the spider veins on my legs...and of all the things you would comment positively on my skin! So, thanks for the encouragement. I'm really enjoying the class and am learning a lot. As weird as it may sound, I think I've been a better mom the past few days having had some time away to focus on something other than just being a mom and a wife.

Hi Mrs. Melissa, it took me a little while to navigate myself to this site, I have not had much experience with blogs. Anyway it has proven to be a fun camp I am sorry that it is so near to its completion. However, I look forward to implementing your advice not just in this industry but in everyday use.
A few months ago I would have never seen myself here it is interesting to see what God is doing because I truly have no idea, but after learning of Excel I have confidence that I have been walking down the right path. Thank you for keeping God the center of Excel. I can not tell you how thankful I am, that there is a Christian organization in such a secular industry.
