Personal Evaluations
Attention all November Camp Students, Monday night 10 week session Models and Tuesday night 10 week session Actors!!!
PERSONAL EVALUATIONS: READ ALL OF THIS POST AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!!! Teens, KIds and Adults. Modeling and Acting.
ALL MODELING AND ACTING STUDENTS CALL BROOKE AT EXCEL (227-4232) and set up an appointment with Melissa for November 18th, 19th,or 20th. 1:00-8:00.
All students under 21 must be accompanied by a parent.
Please come dressed professionally for an interview. Anything that you feel great in that is not layered, ripped or covered in sayings or logos. Girls go light on the makeup and jewelry.
This is a private appointment with Melissa Moody. Please respect the opportunity of having one on one time with someone who has 35 years of experience in this industry. No other training center in this industry takes the time to do this so make the most of this opportunity as it will affect your future opportunities with acceptance into advanced level classes, agency auditions as well as consideration for NY, LA, and Paris. Follow directions and be on time!!!!
Print out this list and check off each item as you prepare for this interview.
ALL MODELS AND ACTORS:
1. Bring all handouts in a notebook.
2. Bring your CD given to you in class that has the handouts on it.
3. Bring a photo with your name on the back. (if you haven't already!)
4. Have all your tests and requested work out of your notebook and ready to hand me. (Ages 11 and up only)
5. Bring deposit for photo sessions. (Last chance to do it the easy way!! Then you are on your own!!!)
6. Bring Advanced Class Registration along with Director's Scholarship Application if you wish to be considered for Advanced Level Training and the Director's Scholarship.
7. Bring a Sony mini DVD-RW for your video critique. Have it open with your name on it.
Additional assignments for Models:
Be prepared to do all turns and your tearoom.
Bring Completed Professional Etiquette Test. (Ages 11 and up)
Bring Completed Marketing Quiz. (Ages 11 and up)
Bring Completed Agency Quiz.(Ages 11 and up)
Bring Types of Modeling Sheet
Bring Model Info Sheet, signed with five copies.( All Ages)
Bring signed Model Agreement. (All ages)
Bring Photo File. See notes for detailed instructions.(Ages 11 and up)
Additional Assignments for Actors:
Bring all your scripts. (All ages!)
Bring typed copies of your scrip preps.
Bring one monologue that is no more than one minute long. Have it memorized and bring a typed copy of it and your script prep fort the monologue. (All ages)
Be prepared to perform your commercial, soap, sitcom, and monologue for the camera. Don't forget a mini Sony DVD!!! (All ages!)

I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet a lot of new people. And I think this is where we are supposed to post.
I'm so glad to be taking the MI 1 class! I can't wait to do the photos on Saturday with Mr. Ben and do my personal evaluation after this class!
Ok. We will be ready. Blake and I have learned SO much from both the acting and modeling classes. We have taken classes from other schools and I can honestly say there IS NO comparison! Its so nice to be with a school who really cares about you and what you learn. I can see why people come back to Excel and want to help teach or volunteer. Its an awesome place! I can honestly say that when we move to LA, Excel will be what we miss most about Arkansas. We love you Melissa and Summer!!!!!!!!!! DeAnn & Blake
I've learned so much and I've grown alot from just the first Model Image I class. I met such wonderful people in this experience and I'm so grateful for everything Melissa and Ben Moody have done. I'm extremely excited about my personal evaluation with Melissa and my photo shoot with Ben.
We have been having a great time in class and Olivia is looking forward to her personal evaluation. She has come a long way since starting class, she has been more confident in everything she does. Looking forward to being in the next class.

WOW I really enjoyed the class last night! I learned so much in just the first night! It's really awesome! I cannot wait until tonight! I have already met so many friends! I'm usually so shy but last night I talked to everyone that was in the class! I'm so happy and lucky that I'm in this wonderful class at Excel!!!

Class last night was awesome!!! I had no idea it would be so much fun. I really enjoyed talking to new people and learning new things. im also really looking forward to class tonight.

Last night was so much fun! I can't believe what all we learned in so little time and how good everyone was! I was so nervous last night because I didn't know anyone at first in the class but before I left I got to talk with everyone! I'm ready for tonight to learn more about the runway! I just hope I don't fall walking in my heels!

I LOVE this class so much. it's so awesome that we've already learned so much and it was only the first class :) i can't wait to see what else i'll learn and accomplish from this experience. thank you sooo much Mrs. Melissa for everything you are doing for me and the rest of the class.

TaNessa had a great time at the 4 day camp! Alot of valuable info for, well... ALMOST a lifetime! Thanks to Melissa, Summer, Ben, and the entire Excel staff for a wonderul opportunity!! Melissa, next time I will do an extensive research before leaping...wish I had leaped into Excel a long time ago. Much love and kudos!
